Dues reduction

Aloha Fellow Kiahuna Homeowners,

As part of our response to the recent coronavirus pandemic, and its impact on Kiahuna Plantation the Association Board of Directors, along with the Finance Committee and our management staff have been working very hard to eliminate, and/or defer the Association’s expenses as much as possible.

We have implemented staff reductions, eliminated some services, and deferred maintenance projects where possible. As a result of these moves, we are making the following adjustments to your monthly assessments for the payments that will be due on May 1, June 1, and July 1:
•             Reducing the monthly maintenance fee contribution by $168.
•             Suspending $285 of the Reserve contribution; and
•             Eliminating the $191 PBAC membership fee that has been suspended by PBAC.
This will result in a total reduction of $644 for the next three monthly assessments.

Since the current situation is very fluid, and many things can change with very little advance notice, we will be monitoring the situation closely and there is the possibility that we may need to make further adjustments as we see things unfold.
We realize that this is an extremely challenging and stressful time for all of us, and we are grateful for your support and cooperation as we work through this difficult time. Please remember that the monthly assessments are the only source of funding for the Association. We are not a separate company, a bank, or any other kind of finance organization, so it is critical that each homeowner pay their monthly obligations in a timely manner. Every delinquency or non-payment only increases the expenses for all of our members.

Mahalo,
Your Board of Directors
