I wanted to give you a quick recap of the highlights of the meetings and share with you the budget for next year that was approved.
First the good news:
We are hoping to be able to offer owners the option of installing an air conditioning unit into their condos soon. The first step in that process will be to send out a Survey Monkey survey for you to voice your opinion on the idea. That should be sent to you before Christmas. I'll let you know when that is ready to go.
Also, Jeff Smith and the Buildings and Grounds washer/dryer subcommittee are proceeding with installing a few washer/dryers in several test units early next year. We hope to be able to report back on their installations by the May annual meeting.
Now the not such good news:
The AOBO is going to have to start replacing roofs earlier than anticipated and the infrastructure work will need to start as well. As a result, the monthly dues will increase by approx. $141 in 2020. You can see the breakdown of this on the budget, which I'm attaching below. Thanks to Dave DiMare and the AOBO staff (Faye, Chris, Marianne) for all their hard work on getting this finalized.
