The island of Kauai now requires a 10-day travel quarantine in most cases, and tourism continues to be severely curtailed. And as it did months ago, the Board reviewed all possibilities to reduce costs. It’s an extensive process to evaluate actual costs, budget, and where savings could be taken responsibly.
As a result, the Board was able to carve out a $90 reduction for each unit over the next three months: February, March and April.
The Board will continue to evaluate savings opportunities and hopefully tourism will begin to recover soon.
