Further changes for travel to Kauai

 

Starting January 5, 2021 Kaua'i To Reinstate Interisland Travel Happy New Year! Starting off the year with some good news. Today it was announced that Governor Ige approved our Kauai Mayor's request to reinstate interisland travel. Starting January 5, 2021 the options to come to Kaua'i are going to be: 1. Travel to Oahu, Maui or the Big Island with a negative COVID test and stay for at least 3 days. Test again on the island that you are on and if you can still provide a second negative COVID test within 72 hours of flying to Kauai you don't have to quarantine.  2. Pre test before coming to Kauai and then stay in one of Kauai's approved "Resort Bubble" properties. Test again on the 4th day of your stay and if negative you are out of quarantine. 3. If you fly to Kauai without doing either one of these two options than you must quarantine for 10 days, no exceptions.
