Info on November dues from AOBO President Craig Price

MESSAGE FROM AOBO PRESIDENT, CRAIG PRICE:

Aloha Fellow Kiahuna Owners,

As you probably are aware, effective today the State of Hawaii has lifted many of the travel restrictions for out of state tourists. Correspondingly, we at Kiahuna are resuming the operations that have been reduced, or eliminated, during the past several months. This will require the Association to reinstate the full amount of the monthly assessments beginning with the Assessments due on November 1. You will be seeing this full amount on your next monthly statement.

During the 2nd and 3rd quarters of this year, we were able to reduce each homeowner’s assessments by a total of $2,732 per unit. I would like to give a big thank you to our management staff Chris Gampon, Faye Fernandez, and Marianne Thesken; our Treasurer, Dave DiMare along with the Finance Committee; and to our Executive Committee. All of these people have been putting countless hours above and beyond their typical duties to shepherd us through this challenging time.

I would also like to personally thank each and every homeowner for their patience and support as we have been navigating the past several months.

As you know, things in Hawaii are still very fluid, and could change at any minute. However, I am hopeful that we are now turning a corner on our ability to operate and receive guests at Kiahuna, and beginning our climb back to a more typical rental market.

Mahalo,

Craig Price, AOBO President
