New hybrid water heater and also something not AOBO related but valuable anyway~

We were at Kiahuna last month with our grandkids and happened to see the installation of one of the new hybrid water heaters.  I thought you might want to see what they look like:

I thought the entire installation process was very well organized and efficient!  Thanks to that team who has facilitated this project!


Also, on an unrelated matter, I recently performed a minor upgrade to my shower doors and I thought that those of you with glass doors might be interested.  My doors were constantly looking cloudy, with the water leaving marks on the inside of the glass.

Last month, I happened to see the Hammonds' shower doors and was so impressed.  I had to copy theirs!  Thank you Jim and Sandy!

Jules was wonderful , professional and prompt-- and installed these films on the outside of the doors.  They require no cleaning.  In fact, you can't use windex on them at all. He has the equipment to manufacture the design on this film, which he then installed onto the doors. Amazing, don't you think?  And it provides an element of privacy not otherwise there.


I think the cost is approx. $350 for mine.
I'm not providing any warranty or trying to sell anything.  I thought you might be interested in perking up your showers!  And, as an aside, if you have windows that are allowing too much sun in (heating up the room, for instance), they also have a film to filter the light.  Just another idea.
